In the few lines the poet talks about the aforts that he took two mortails name of his beloved.

One fine day Thai started witting his beloveds name upon the strand but waves became his enemy as it washed away his beloves name.

Still after the first failure he did not give up and again tried to write her name but again the time came and washed it away. This pain has very well expressed in line by the poet which is......

"But come the tide , and

    Made my pains his prey,"

In the next stanza in the next lines the poet talks about a fort to mortal name of his beloved his beloved may be in watching him from somewhere and expresses her sorrow on her loves failure.

To His Coy Mistress (poem )

To His Coy Mistress by Andrew Marvell

.                               To his coy mestress is written by Andrew Marvell. Who was the son of a clergy man he was a metafigieal poet his most of the poem focases more or love and god. This poem to his coy mistress is also about love and shines of the beloved.

The poet stats with the coyness of beloved same that it both the loves had inough time have beloved coyness was no crime but hense beloved is so shine that her shines has become a crime because they have very less time left and it they had inough time could think loves how to pass that " long loves" day.

In the next few lines the poet refers about " Indian Gangs" and " Humber" which is it Engliand through this the poet won't to say that way nerves both the loves meet somewhere their was always are distances because of beloveds coy ness and a sefusal to give her self to the Jews her refusal to sarender hursal.

Poet starts the next lines by comparing his love to vegetables hi love is like a vegetable which grass they by day " castes than empire" than the poet starts training each part of beloves body she was so beautiful and a toeable that she loves would happily pass hundrand years to praise beloves bed eyes and also gazing on the for head of the beloved he would spend two hundrand years to praise his beloveds each treats still he requires rest of the past of her body and when derth was about to come the beloved mind leave her coyes and show her love.

Beloved is indeed shine but what ever the loves said regarding the years  to prase is out pure love more then that beloved deserves this type of love and poet say that he would not love her loves than this his love should always be casted than empire that for the poet says,

"For lady you deserve this state
Nor would I love, at loves rate"

Next lines reter's to the short time which is passing poet here sound of " time's wing ehariot which is horroring near which means the time is passing very fast.

In the next lines the poet explains what would happen. If the beloved dies without having fizical relation with the lover.

If the beloved shall countinous her coyness like this than one day when the death will arrive her beautiful will be no more as will as the echoing song also want be their once she is dead. The beloved is very coy and there for she is not allowing the lover come close to her in the for the poet says once she is dead the worms will eat het' long preserved virginity' and there for before in happens she should help fizical relation with the lover because after the death. If they won't have fizical relation the last of the loves will turn into ashes there was beloved should being very shine.

Then the poet compares " youth" with " morning" due the way morning due drips on the skin and goes out of that within few time in the same way youth also stages for a while only and there for before the lovers get orey by the time or by the socucty lover wants his beloved to surrender herself and enjoy to gatherness.

In the last lines the poet uses to tines in the of the poem that are.....

" Thus, though we cannot make out sun
Stand still yet we will make him run"

here the poet says it is not in our hand to stop the son but it he can't stop it we have to change with the time which means before the time grape then in to it'd clutches she should stop bin shine and with all her wellingness she should enjoy the pleasure of being together further the poet says it takes a lot to pass the jurnry of life as it is difficult but with the time they have they should collect all their stand has sweetness they should strif hard to be togathes.

When We Two Parted ( poem )

When We Two Parted  by Lord Byron

When we two pasted is a poem written by wowd Lord Byron who is successful politician and well known poet he born an England. He become very successful no only in this political care as but also in his literary carrear. He deed at the age of 36. Though he died in early age of his life he made most of it.

Word Biron's has aritten the poem when atitten we two parted. A dreing two lovers blow he narrative the sorrow and feeling of pasting in this poem. In the first few lines the poet expresses the situation how they parted and that poet says,

                   " When we two parted

    In silance and tears"

The poet expresses that when his beloves was about two live loves none of them could utter a single word and the situation became invariable as fearwell party each other that not only for days one or two but " for years"

After then the poet blem the hour when the loves and the beloved were togathes as that happy over itself for tolded the sapration that both the loves has two face in the future.

When the poet talks about " dew of the morning " which he felt like a warning bell as the poet thinks that what eves the loves is feeling now sorrowful situation the morning dew alsrady had colded for happy this feeling had well depicted in the poem.

" If felt like the warning

     Of what I feel now"

Further in the poem but on talks about vows that ase broken which indicates that believe of beloves is no more with him and that she has broken all her promises which he give once and now she is not there in his life two keep her promises then the poet talks about blows fame which is now not that much and has become light the poet can he are name of the spoken by relatives and friends that when he was having relationship they must had fizical relationship which has now become there she there love is no more and there four the time that they spend make them feel shame too.

When people around the loves take name of desbelove it fees light knell two his ear the poet further regards whythe this beloved was so dear to him he tells to people that....

" They know not I knew thee
                Who knew thee too well"

Which means the poet not only love her birth he could understand every emission felt by this beloves and now when she not with him he regrets why he love her so much and it is become in unparable situation of dapration for him.

In the last few lines of the poem the poet expresses the grielle on their meeting and he calls the spirit of this beloved deceive as her heart can forget whatever quality time they slant it each other secretly and after long years.  When the poet would be meeting his beloved how should he would grieve her when both or them parted they only had silence to express and tears to share and after to long time when they would meet their mean to express feeling would be again " silance and tears" which I'd beautifully writing the last time of the poem.

                       "After long years
                  How should I greed thee?
                    With silence and tears."

The Blessed Damozel ( poem )

The Blessed Damozel by "Dante Gabriel Rossett"

" The Blessed Damozel" is a poem of 144 lines written by "Dante Gabriel Rossett". It is a love poem Damozel means " unmarried young woman". The poem expresses inmance love of the cmozel for her lover. The poem suggests even after death love survives.

In the poem blessed damozal, Damozel is no more and her lover is still a live the poem is about " unfaing love'. In the very first stanza of the poem first two lines suggests that the damozel is dead and she know in Heaven.

" The blessed damoza lern'd out
From the gold bar of heaven"

This two line suggest Damozel is leaning out. As if she is looking for something from the golden bar of heaven.

When the writer portrays age of the demozel we see demozel standing out golden bar of heaven with"three lilies" in her hand her eyes were " deeper than death" and there were stars in her hair.

With the first two line reader scan assume that demozel is looking something. Then in the next stanza the poetvsays that demozel's bait where "yellow like ripecorn" and her robe white as a white rose.

Then in the next stanza we see how the loves is feeling about his beloved. The images that.......

" surely she Lean's ever me her
hair fell all about me face.......

In these lines we the reader can assume that the lover also still loves his beloved and its being almost ten year the lover has not forget his beloved and  he is still true and loyall for his beloved and there for even after ten years of his beloved death. He Is not able to forget his beloved.

Then the poet expresses how the demozel is feeling when " knewly mate lovers" gather around her when demozel sees this lovers hagain each other she feels diprest and again starts messing her lover even more this knewly men sols"went by her like thin flames"

When she sees this she wntrots over her I motion. Because she knew that she still has to remain away from lover.

Then in another stanza the demozel again expressed her hope that one day both the lovers will reunite

" I wish that he were come to me                                   From he will come"

These lines suggest that bright hope is still that in the damozel heart. She still wishes that her lover one day will surely come to her for the demozed. She is impeciently waiting for her lover in the heaven.

Then the demozel ask god."have I not pra'd in heaven"
She ask that she has hinough prayed to God for her lover and doubts that wasn't that prayer was inough here in heaven damozel was praying for their reunion. After such a long period and again questions God.....

"Are not two prayer a perfect strength"

this line suggest that damoel thinks that in both the prayers their are inough strength that can be the esuse of their reunion. But yet, they are srpretef and thetfor damozel is afraid and instants regarding their reunion.

Then the Demozel imagine her lover coming their in heaven. Then their is a description of what would Damozel and her lover would do , if they both reunite in heaven. She says that if her lover would arrive their in heaven. He would be in white cloth.

" I will take hand and go with him"

She would go with him into "stream and bath in god's like". And they would" see their old prayers granted" and this prayers would be melt like " little could"

Then Damozel says, that when her lover would arrive. Their the same song which see use to sing in heaven for her lover. When he was on the earth by singing a sing and timing around. They both will " find some knowledge and some new thing to know" she would also tell her lover about their love and "I lay my check to his "

All this the Demozel has imagent then after a few time. She stops imaging further and expresses her disappointment by saying that,

"All this is when he comes"

All this would become reality only when her lover would arrive.

The last stanza is not of Demozel but of her lover who sorrow. As if he could see her standing at golden bad. He says, that their are some still berians between their love, but they soon will over come he sees this beloved hiding her face into her hands, and started weeping lastly the lover says,

                        " I hoard her tears"

With suggests that though the loves is on the easth. He would feel the pain and disappointment of the Damozel.

Modernist Poems

Modernist Poems : Activity identiy Modernist metaphors in these short poems

1)   “Darkness” : Joseph Campbell
Darkness
I stop to watch a star shine
In the boghole a
Star no loger, but a
Silverative
ribbon of light.
I look at it and pass on.

Darkness title shows some negative thoughts and mood of poet. Star shine showe some hope and positiveness for life. Poems show is the emergence of a distinctly modern style of poetry that rejects the gushing excesses of the worst Victorian verse.

2)   “Image” : Edward Storer
Forsaken Lovers,
Burning to a chaste white
Moon
Upon strange pyres of
Loneliness and
Drought.

Here poet may be interpret the he shows one couple and with the use of word burning shows hateness for love.

3)   “In a station of the metro” : Ezra Pound
The apparition of these faces
In the Crowd;
petals on a wet, black bough.

Ezra Pound described metro station and people who are on this station. She says that how we become puppets of feeling less life. It talks about the repetitive life of modern people like a living dead.

4)   “ The embankment” : T.E.Hulme
Once, in finesse of fiddles
Found I ecstasy,
In a flash of gold heels on the
hard pavement.
Now see I
That warmth’s the very stuff
 of poesy.
Oh, god, make small
The old star-eaten blanket of
The sky,
That I may fold it round me
And in comfort lie.

Modernist literature at first seems difficult to understand. In this poem, Hale is trying to escape form earthily realities and wants himself to be wind up with comfortable lies.

5)   “Insouciance”: Richard Aldington
In and out of the dreary
Trenches
Trudging cheerily under the
Stars
I make for myself little
Poems
Delicate as a flock of doves
They fly away like
whitewinged
Doves.

The poem represents about war. Here poet says that he is tired and he want freedom or he wants to free from his responsibility.

6)    “The Pool” : Hilda Doolittle
Are you alive?
I touch you.
You quiver like a sea-fish.
I Cover you with my net.
What are you banded one?

Here in this poem “The Pool” an image of in our mind word stored wrer. Water is like purity and rebirth. The lyric has a hint of a sentiment antonomous life where it is hard for a person to survive. So the illustration utilized “ trembling seafish “ and power controls this sort of person.

7)    “ Morning at the Window” : T.S.Eliot
Ther are rattling breakfast
Plates in basement kitchens,
And along the trampled edges of the street
I am aware of the damp souls of housemaid
Sprouting despondently at are a gates.
The brown waves of for foss up to me
Twisted faces from the bottom of the street,
And tear from a passerdy with muddy skirts
An aimless smile that hovers in the air
And vanishes along the level of the roofs.

The picture is that of a morning . T.s.Eliot is writing the poem form the point of the housemaid who is constantly engaged with lots of work.

8)    “ The Red Wheelbarrow “ : William Carlos Williams
So much depends upon
A rod wheel
Barrow
Glazed with rain
Water
Beside the white
Chicken.

Poet has used many symbols here. The first line is colloquial and open in its invitation, the second line, the preposition “upon” prepares the reader for the specifics to follow . The whole poem is symbolicall.

9)   “ Anecdote of the Jar “ : Wallace Stevens
I placed a jae in Tennessee,
And round it was, upon a hill.
It Made the slovenly wilderness
Surround that hill.
The Wilderness rose up to it,
And sprawled around, no longer wild.
The Jar was round upon the ground
And tall and of a port in air.
It took dominion everwhere.
The Jar was gray and bare.
It did not give of bird or bush.
Like nothing else in Tennessee.

Through this poem we can understand that how life. Becomes mixer of both the things And indirectly we can . Say it is hybridization. As same in our country we are eating both the things pizza as well as rotala.

This is the best poem amongst all given here. Poet have marvelously captured the image of falling leaves in the poem. Words even are falling in the poem, just like leaf. Broken into pieces, and with that word and leaf, loneliness also fals and spreads in the mind of reader.
