So here my interpretation, according to my understanding.

A documentary about honor killings in Pakistan won an Oscar on Sunday night having already spurred the country’s government toward toughening laws to protect women.

“A Girl in the River” is the story of Saba Qaiser, whose father and uncle shot her in the face, stuffed her in a bag and tossed her in a river in rural Punjab province, after she ran away to marry the man she loved. Ms. Qaiser, 18 years old at the time, survived.

The film was the second Oscar for Pakistani producer and director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and won the award for best short documentar.

I am agree with this  here Sharmeen's point also same Sharmeen's first Oscar award winning documentary film, A Girl in the River, portrayed a negative side of India. Has been much celebrated at home. Deservedly  so. In this documentary, she has presented reality of women's life that hwomen in Pakistan are suffering by the honour killing which may bring change in women's life after showing the true picture of it. Once reality came out, we can change the bad situation but if it is still hidden we can't do anything as there are so many crimes happen with women daily which can't reported in news or by any documentary like

Mario Vargas Llosa was a Peruvian writer. He was politician, journalist, a collage professor. He was popular with his various opinion on the issues like, 'liberals', 'nationalism', 'populism', 'greatest challenge to Democracy', 'intellectual honesty', 'literature and morality', political correctness.

Libralism

Liberalism is a group of political, social and economic theories that centers on the values of individual liberty, equality, economic freedom, limited and democratic government and the rule of law. Let's take a quick look at each of these values in a bit more detail.

Liberalism also holds a commitment to the rule of law, which is essential for a democratic and limited government. The rule of law is a proposition that law should not be arbitrary and must be applied fairly to all.

Nationalism

Nationalism is an ideology that holds that a nation is the fundamental unit for human social life, and takes precedence over any other social and political principles. Nationalism typically makes certain political claims based upon this belief: above all, the claim that the nation is the only fully legitimate basis for a state, that each nation is entitled to its own state, and that the borders of the state should be congruent with the borders of the nation. Nationalism refers to both a political doctrine and any collective action by political and social movements on behalf of specific nations. Nationalism has had an enormous influence upon world history, since the nation-state has become the dominant form of state organization.

What is literature?

What is literature?

“A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several while reading.”
                                                                 By William Styron

“Literature is a Mirror to Society”

It is said literature is the mirror of society which means it presents human experience, appear sanities and day to day activities. It must some sense or “real” as if describes one emotion that we feel it real. The writers should make their work in a way that is seems factual with the quantity at imagination otherwise the readers would not believe in such creation whatever the writers presents in their works is because of the influence of the society or provide which he haves in it should be considerable and be livable to the readers.

But I think this not chough because literature is not mirror to society or rather I would like to say something more about this, I would like to add something more.

Literature improves our language proficiency, it enriches our knowledge about a culture, it helps us to explore the nature of human beings and it gives us spiritual and psychological relief.

Literature is appealing mainly because of its relationship to human experience. It sheds light on the complexity and ambiguity of human experiences and thus broadens our awareness of the possibilities of the experience.

So, I can only said that, never under estimate the power of literature.

What is the meaning of phrase ‘Blood Money’ in Veronica’s reply email?

We read novel that when Veronica replayed “Blood Money” means from someone’s spilled blood the money is given Antony.  Tony has helped them to Mrs. Sarah Ford. At End of her life, she gave that money to Tony because of that she was happy in relationship with Adrian. One day Tony Suggested to Adrian that Met to Mrs. Sarah Ford. Later one Mrs. Sarah ford Die at that time she was happy them. But in later on Adrian committed suicide. So may be Veronica not happy of them. That’s why she tells that this money was not pure and that is why she just replayed “Blood Money”.

How do you decipher the equation: b = s – v x/+ a1 or a2 + v + a1 X s = b?

     1)   b= s-v x/+ a

    It means B= baby and s= Sarah, v =Veronica, a1 =Adrian. And thus baby born.  B=Baby, S= Sarah, V=Veronica, a1= Adrian.
A2+ V+ a1 X S =B

A2= Antony Webster, V=Veronica, A1= Adrian, S= Sarah Ford, B=Baby, a1X s= a1’s relationship with S. So it indicates that the result of baby is the relationship between Adrian with Sarah .

In the light of new revelations, how do you read character of Veronica? Instinctive, manipulative, calculating, stubborn, haughty, sacrificial, trustworthy, good Samaritan?

Veronica is very important character in the whole novel and her love for Tony and Adrian makes her life different. She loves Tony and Adrian too so some extent it creates tragic situation in her life.

How was Veronica related to Adrian, the one suffering in care-in-the-community?

Because of the relationship of Veronica and Adrian suffering in care community because Adrian is the son of Sarah and Adrian and in this way Adrian is the brother of Veronica and so she has relation with him. And that’s why she has to take care of him and with that reason suffering in care- in –the community.

How was Veronica related to Adrian, the one suffering in care-in-the-community?

Because of the relationship of Varonica and Adrian suffering in care community because Adrian is the son of Sarah and Adrian and in this way Adrian is the brother of Varonica and so she has relation with him. And that’s why she has to take care of him and with that reason suffering in care- in –the community.

Discuss in brief the history of Language Laboratory.

Modern language labs are known by many names, digital language lab, multimedia language lab, language media center and multimedia learning center to name but a few. View the video and read the text below to learn more.
 modern language lab:
  • Teacher has a computer with appropriate software for conducting language exercises
  • Teacher and students wear headsets that block outside sounds and disturbances
  • Students have a media player/recorder for listening to audio and recording speech
  • Teacher and student positions are connected via LAN (local area network), in some cases also via separate audio cabling
  • A server computer or a separate storage device is often used to store lesson materials in a digital format

 History of the language laboratory:

language lab development from approximatelythe 1950’s to the present day. Besides offering a brief historyof language-lab advancement, the digital revo lution, and modern language-lab services, the author discusses roles, characteristics, features and functions of modern language laboratories that are neededby EFL teachers and students.

2 Students learn much faster in the language lab
3 The teacher takes on a more important role in the language lab
4 Use more resources and varied activities than in a traditional classroom
5 Language labs allow for diversity in the classroom
6 Labs foster communication in the classroom
7 Language labs are an intuitive tool for both the student and teacher
8 language labs optimize computing resources

Disadvantages of language lab

      1.    Sometimes it creates limitation or technology not helps us in some                 extent.
      2.    you can not operate anywhere or everywhere
      3.    it's need to expert faculty
      4.    Need to basic knowledge of computer
      5.    After completed work on this software , there is no recordes of work which was done by students.
      6.    Back to home here use TOC button sometime language learner don’t understand the real use of this button or don’t remember it .
