Respected sir,

Here is my response to given discussion. Here is my point of view about lies and fiction.

The word 'Fiction' means imagination about something. For example in literature in the form of prose, especially short stories, novels, poems that describes imaginary events and people.And the word 'Alternative Fact' means about the existence of any subject, events or any other things, there is one of two or more available possibilities of existence of anything.  Example given by Ursula K. Le Guin that the Sun rises in the East is a fact, but Sun can rise in the West is a fiction, to claim that it does so as fact or alternative fact is a lie.
