One Mahatma Gandhi said that fair and legible hand - writing makes a man perfect in all walks of life . This shows the importance of hand - writing.
Concept : Writing is a tool to express ideas, thoughts and feelings which are in our mind.
Causes :
#.Bad hand - writing is due to imitation of bad examples.
#. Use of pen or pencil from the early stages.
#. It can be due to lack of good sitting arrangement.
#. The quality of paper and ink is not good.
#. Sitting position is not proper.
#. Ways of holding pen or pencil.
#. Hand movement is not proper.
Remedies to improve hand - writing :
#. Use of four - lined note - books at early stage.
#. Sitting in a proper posture.
#. Arranging the desk in proper position.
#. Showing model hand - writing.
#. Holding the pen properly.
#. Check the mistakes and errors.
#. Using black board for difficult words.
#. Motivates the pupils for good hand -writing.
#. Giving them to write a short passage everyday.
#. Appreciating the pupils in the class - room whose hand - writing are fair legible.
