Q...... How faithful is the movie to the original play?

 

                                      When the movie is a very faithful, because original play is in only saying to the ' Hamlet ' story, But movie original plan's theme and plot. 

 

Q...... After watching the movie, have your perception about play, characters or situations changed?

 

                        After watching the movie the all characters are clear. Hamlet and Ophelia original play. 

 

Q..... Do you feel ‘aesthetic delight’ while watching the movie? If yes, exactly when did it happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?

 

                        yes, I felt aesthetic delight when Hamlet pretends and med. 

 

Q......Do you feel ‘catharsis’ while or after watching movie? If yes, exactly when did it happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?

 

                                   yes, feel ' catharsis ' while or after watching in Hamlet and Ophelia. Ophelia's madness is very catharsis and Hamlet. Hamlet 's character mind is also confused in hamlet's questions of ' to be or not to be '

 

Q...... Does screening of movie help you in better understanding of the play?

 

                         yes, movie is very helpful and understanding in the play. All characters are original play 

Example :Hamlet, Ophelia, Hamlet father, Mother, Rosencrantz and
Guildenstern 

 

Q....... Was there any particular scene or moment in the movie that you will cherish lifetime?

 

                                 yes, there are many scenes in the play, which are very beautifully designed, but the sense in fhther and son lcarus and, but one scene -Ophelia and Hamlet love with each other and is tragic same as Romeo,son and Father tells his son that he take revenge of his death. 

 

Q........ If you are director, what changes would you like to make in the remaking of movie on Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’?

 

                            If mi the director of the movie my best changing is happy and wonderful presented by Kenneth Branagh (movies) end.  

Q......In the beginning of the movie, camera rolls over the statue of King Hamlet out side the Elsinore castle. The movie ends with the similar sequence wherein the statue of the King Hamlet is hammered down to the dust. What sort of symbolism do you read in this? (Clue: In Book IX of 'Paradise Lost', Satan reflects on his revenge motive:       "But what will not ambition and revenge; Descend to? Who aspires must down as low; As high he soared, obnoxious, first or last, To basest things. Revenge, at first though sweet, Bitter ere long back on itself recoils." Is it not King Hamlet's ambition to avenge his death responsible for the downfall of his kingdom which is symbolically pictured in last scenes?)

 

                         In first scene statue suggest the ghost is coming to take revenge.last scene it suggest the resulf of the revenge.

                         yes, studying the play through movie philosophical approach.Hamlet's madess.

                              Philosophical approach because the directly show conditions of hamlet's mind.
